Filestage – Interactive Demo

The brief

Position Filestage as a thought leader for agencies and marketers.

The process

In the software industry, it’s critical that people understand what your product can do for them. It should be clear from the moment they land on the website. Before taking on this project, Filestage had an animation on the home page. But it was more focused on how the tool works rather than the value it offers. This is something I was eager to change.

Working with a designer and content creator, I used Figma to storyboard our first interactive demo, which we then built and published using Storylane. I ran this as an A/B test against the old animation, which was a great success. I then monitored performance and shipped a series of iterations to further boost demo bookings.

The results

  1. 79% conversion rate increase in an A/B test with the old animation

  2. 144% increase in home-to-demo page clicks through ongoing iterations
