Scale the content writing team to boost rankings and grow traffic.

The process

Filestage didn’t have the big ad budgets of its competitors. So organic content was the best avenue we had to grow leads and revenue.

From my experience at Farewill, I knew there was room for improvement. There was no real structure connecting the website and blog, and most product pages were written without SEO in mind.

Working with our content manager, I built a new SEO ecosystem around categories like advertising, packaging and pharmaceuticals. And as well as writing 40+ articles myself (you can read some of them here), I hired two in-house writers and a pool of freelancers to deliver a constant stream of top-, middle- and bottom-of-funnel articles.

The results

  2. 663% increase in keywords ranking in positions 1-3

  3. 4x increase in organic traffic, peaking at 304k/month
