Filestage – Survey and Report

The brief

Position Filestage as a thought leader for agencies and marketers.

The process

During my first few months at Filestage, I did a lot of research into the online proofing category. I was craving data points to make our marketing more compelling, but there was nothing. So rather than following someone else’s lead, I set about producing a report that would position Filestage as thought leaders on the topic.

I produced three annual reports in my time at Filestage, each tied to a survey of our target audience. The one I’m highlighting here is The State of Creative Collaboration, which focused on how collaboration had changed following the pandemic.

I’m especially proud of this project because of the sheer number of hats I had to wear. I created the concept, produced and promoted the survey, analysed the data, wrote the article, co-designed the charts and report, managed our PR outreach and created social content to amplify it.

The results

  1. 366 survey responses from Filestage’s target audience

  2. Press coverage of the report, including in Forbes

  3. Key data points to use in our marketing

  4. Thousands of impressions across the blog and social
